China Protests U.S. Sanctions Over Alleged Hacking Activities
The U.S. Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on Beijing-based cybersecurity firm Integrity Technology Group, accusing it of involvement in hacking campaigns targeting U.S. critical infrastructure, including operations attributed to "Flax Typhoon." In response, China has criticized these sanctions, labeling them as baseless and defamatory. Integrity Technology Group has stated that the sanctions will not impact its business, as it does not operate within the U.S.
